2009 година е първата, през която международното списание Southeastern Europe, на което имам честта да бъда главен редактор, започна да се издава от престижното издателство Brill.

Първият брой е по предизвикателната тема Как да (не) изнасяме гражданско общество.

Коледният прочит на посланието би звучал така: гражданското общество е атрактивно, когато го получаваме като лъскаво опакован вносен подарък, но е истинско, когато несръчно, неумело, но вдъхновено си го правим сами.
